Pharr Family Preserve Trail

Located in the Town of Midland, the Pharr Family Preserve Trail is a 1.7-mile out-and-back natural surface trail for walking and biking. A portion of the Carolina Thread Trail, this trail also features a canoe/kayak launch located 300 yards from the trailhead to access the Rocky River Blueway.

Pharr Family Preserve Trail meanders along the Rocky River through 66 acres of land protected by the Catawba Lands Conservancy and is part of the Butterfly Highway, a statewide conservation restoration initiative.
